Through his work experience, he has gained extensive knowledge in linking Individuals to resources in the community and providing individual therapy. He has provided long-term care to individuals at risk, and those struggling with serious mental health conditions.

He strongly believes it is important to develop a rapport and trust in order to maintain a healthy therapeutic relationship. Throughout his professional career, he has been known for his honesty, transparency, reliability, dependability, respectfulness, compassion, and empathy, which are tools necessary to develop a successful therapeutic relationship.

In treatment, he uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic interventions to treat various disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Psychosis. Depending on the individual’s request, he also takes a faith-based approach as an intervention. He also provides psychoeducation, which helps individuals gain insight and awareness. Mental health symptoms often affect a person’s basic eating, sleeping, and personal care habits.

Some individuals report having racing thoughts, feeling anxious, or having thoughts of self-harm, and drug use. He believes your safety is a number one priority and recognizing your early warning signs of relapse before symptoms become worse is crucial. In your individual session, he will explore your symptoms, concerns, and the underlying issues. His approach to treatment is person-centered, strength and solution based.
